Eifukuji Kita Kofun
叡福寺北古墳

What it is
- A circular tumulus in Taishi, Osaka Prefecture.
- Designated by the Imperial Household Agency as Shinaga-no-haka.
- It is the tomb of Prince Shotoku.
- Dates to the late Kofun period, around the late 7th century.
What to see
- An elliptical mound, 43 meters north-south and 53 meters east-west.
- The mound has three construction stages.
- A horizontal stone chamber is the burial facility.
- Three coffin stands remain inside the stone chamber.
