Esanmisaki Lighthouse

What it is

• A lighthouse located at the eastern tip of the Kameda Peninsula.
• First established in 1890 and restored in 1949 after air raid damage.
• Part of the Esan Prefectural Natural Park and automated since 1995.
• Recognized as one of the top fifty lighthouses in Japan.
