Hachijōjima Lighthouse

What it is

• A white stone lighthouse located at Ishizumigahana on the eastern tip of the island.
• The structure first began operations on June 10, 1951.
• It is also known locally as the Sueyoshi Lighthouse.
• The facility is managed by the 3rd Regional Coast Guard Headquarters.
