Hanakuma Castle

What it is

• A castle built by Araki Murashige under Oda Nobunaga's order.
• Construction took about one year.
• Fell in 1580 after an attack by Ikeda Tsuneoki.
• Now a ruined castle site, also known as Hanazumi Castle.

• A monument marks the castle ruins.
• A simulated stone wall is on the site.
• A simulated main keep base is on the site.
• The castle had a main keep, second bailey, and third bailey.
