Hira Castle was a 16th-century flatland castle, an important outpost now marked by ruins.
What it is
- A Japanese flatland castle from the 16th century.
- Built by Narimune Sassa during the Tenbun era (1532-1555).
- Served as an important outpost for Kiyosu Castle.
- Abandoned in 1575.

- Castle ruins, believed to be around Komyoji temple.
- Original castle measured 75m east-west, 80m north-south.
- The castle faced the Shonai River to the north.
