Hirugami Kurumazuka Kofun

What it is

• A keyhole-shaped burial mound, or kofun.
• Estimated to have been built around the mid-6th century.
• Named 'Kurumazuka' from a legend about Sugawara no Michizane.

What to see

• The kofun is 56 meters long.
• The posterior circular part is 30 meters in diameter.
• The anterior square part is 33 meters wide.
• Built on the southern end of the Tenjinyama hill.

Getting there

• 8-minute walk north from Takatsuki Station.
