What it is

  • A mountain standing 802 meters high within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
  • One of the new outer rim mountains overlooking Kowakudani and Miyanoshita hot spring districts.
  • A bowl-shaped peak that some theories suggest was the site of Takanosu Castle.
  • A wide grassland area situated at the summit of the mountain.
