Mount Sengen
浅間山
A grassland peak in Hakone offering scenic views of volcanic mountains and access to nearby waterfalls and hot spring districts.
What it is
- A mountain standing 802 meters high within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
- One of the new outer rim mountains overlooking Kowakudani and Miyanoshita hot spring districts.
- A bowl-shaped peak that some theories suggest was the site of Takanosu Castle.
