What it is

  • A hot spring resort located at the southern foot of Mount Sanbe in Oda City.
  • Designated as a National Recreation Hot Spring Resort in 1959.
  • Formerly known as Shigaku Onsen before its current designation.
  • The springs produce 2,500 liters of chloride and iron-containing water per minute.

What to see

  • Public baths named Tsuru-no-yu and Kame-no-yu are available for visitors.
  • The current water source located slightly inside the mountain area.
  • Natural hot spring waters ranging from 34.8 to 42 degrees Celsius.

Getting there

  • Take a bus from Oda-shi Station directly to the hot spring area.
  • The bus journey from the station takes approximately 40 minutes.
