What it is

A day-use hot spring facility currently operated by Prince Hotel.
The site was originally purchased by Yasujiro Tsutsumi during the Taisho era.
The waters contain a natural blend of sodium bicarbonate and chloride.
Former hotel and skating facilities on the site closed in March 2009.

Modern bathing facilities designed for day visitors to the Karuizawa area.
Nearby hot spring locations including Hoshino Onsen and Shiotsubo Onsen within walking distance.

Getting there

The facility is located three kilometers from Naka-Karuizawa Station.
Local Seibu Kanko buses stop at the Sengataki Onsen bus stop.
