What it is

  • A keyhole-shaped tumulus, 115m long.
  • Designated as Emperor Seinei's mausoleum.
  • Thought to have been built in the early 6th century.
  • Named after Emperor Seinei's white hair.

  • The massive keyhole-shaped burial mound.
  • Front part is 128m wide and 11m high.
  • Rear circular part is 63m in diameter, 10.5m high.
