What it is

  • An ancient burial mound in Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture.
  • Designated by the Imperial Household Agency as Emperor Ankan's mausoleum.
  • Also believed to be the tomb of Princess Kanzaki.
  • Constructed in the early 6th century.

  • A kofun with a total length of 122 meters.
  • Front part is 100 meters wide and 12.5 meters high.
  • Rear circular part has a 78-meter diameter and is 13 meters high.
