- Opened in 1996 as Tsukuba Wanwan Zoo, renamed in 1998.
- Operated by Sansui Corporation, also called a dog and cat theme park.
- Used as a training facility by Tsukuba International Pet College.

- Mokkun, an 11-meter high dog-shaped wooden observation deck.
- Mokkun is considered one of the largest in the world.
- About 1000 dogs from 90 breeds.
- A cat house with 70 cats from 40 breeds.
