Tsurugisaki Lighthouse

A historic white octagonal lighthouse on the Miura Peninsula, originally designed by Richard Brunton to guide ships through the Uraga Channel.
What it is
- One of eight treaty lighthouses originally promised by the Shogunate to foreign powers.
- A white octagonal concrete tower standing on the southeastern tip of the Miura Peninsula.
- The current structure was rebuilt in 1925 after the original stone building collapsed.
