Abushina Shrine: ancient shrine with unique trees, worth visiting for its spring festival.
What it is
- Founded in 818, moved to current site in 897.
- Enshrines deities Izanagi-no-Okami and Izanami-no-Okami.
- Also enshrines the deity Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
- Designated a Gosha shrine in 1873.

When to go
- Annual festival held on April 13-14.
- A float is pulled during the festival on April 13.

- Located 200m south of Kawabe Ohashi bridge.
