- A shrine dedicated to Sukunahikona-no-mikoto.
- Known as Tenjinja, renamed Amatsu Shrine in 1869.
- Listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho, a historic shrine register.

- Gantan-sai festival is held on January 1st.
- Autumn Festival is held on the fourth weekend of October.
