- Heiwa Kannonji was a temple and museum complex.
- It was built by Toyokichi Okuchi in 1982.
- The World Peace Giant Kannon Statue was 100 meters tall.
- The facility closed in 2006 and was dismantled by 2023.
What to see
- The 80-meter-tall Kannon statue was the main feature.
- A 40-meter-tall Juunoto pagoda was on the grounds.
- 500 Rakan statues were housed within the facility.
- A Statue of Liberty replica was also present.
- A D51 828 steam locomotive was on the premises.
