Banryū-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple with unique statues.
What it is
- A Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple.
- Founded during the Keian era (1648-1652).
- Originally a small hermitage, Shōmyō-in.
- Renamed Banryū-ji in 1710.
