Bukkō-ji Temple is a historic Shinshu Buddhist temple in Kyoto with important statues.
What it is
- Head temple of the Shinshu Bukkoji sect.
- Founded by Ryōgen.
- Main deity is Amitābha Tathāgata.
- Moved to its current location in 1586.
