Butsugen-ji Temple

Butsugen-ji Temple is a historic Nichiren Shoshu temple with a rare mandala, worth visiting for its spiritual heritage.

- A Nichiren Shoshu sect temple.
- Founded in 1305 by Nichizon.
- Relocated to Sendai Castle town in 1674.
- Returned to Nichiren Shoshu in 1943.
