Chisui Shrine honors samurai who died in a flood control project, a unique piece of local history.
What it is
- Shrine dedicated to Hirata Yukie and 84 Satsuma clan samurai.
- Honors those involved in the Horeki flood control project.
- Established in 1938, funded by local donations.
