  • A Buddhist temple of the Omuro school of Shingon Buddhism.
  • Founded as the inner temple of Unpen-ji, 66th of Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage.
  • Also the 63rd temple of the New Shikoku Mandala Pilgrimage.
  • Part of the Awa Iya Valley and Oboke Seven Lucky Gods Pilgrimage.
