What it is
- Kōyasan Shingon-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded between 806 and 810 AD.
- Founder was Sakagami Haruko, a woman.
- Emperor Go-Daigo used it as a temporary palace.

- Main hall enshrines an Eleven-faced Kannon statue.
- Main hall also enshrines an Enma-ō (King Yama) statue.
- Daishido enshrines a statue of Kūkai.
