Chōshō-ji Temple

Choshoji is a historic Zen temple in Maebashi with important graves and a serene atmosphere.
What it is
- Soto Zen temple in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
- Founded in 1489 by Nagano Kataaki, a castle lord.
- Rebuilt in 1581 after a fire.
- Also known as Horinzan.
