What it is

  • A 1,042.7 meter mountain located on the border of Kagawa and Tokushima prefectures.
  • The second highest peak in Kagawa and one of the 100 Famous Mountains of Shikoku.
  • Part of the Otaki-Okawa Prefectural Natural Park consisting of Cretaceous sandstone and mudstone.
  • A natural site situated above the Median Tectonic Line which runs along its southern foot.
