Enmei-ji Temple
延命寺
Enmei-ji Temple, founded in the early 1600s, is worth visiting for its unique Jizo statue.
What it is
- A temple of the Shingon-shu Chizan-ha sect.
- Founded between 1596 and 1624.
- Its founder was Hoin Cho-o.

- A standing Jizo Bosatsu statue.
- The statue is called "Kosodate Enmei Jizo."
- Historically, the Jizo statue was paraded.
