Fudaten Shrine is a historic guardian shrine in Chofu City, Tokyo, with cultural properties and a monthly antique market.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha shrine in Chofu City, Tokyo.
- Known as Goshuku Tenjin, a guardian shrine of Fuda Goshuku.
- Originally enshrined Sukunahikona-no-kami, later Sugawara no Michizane.
- Moved to its current location in 1477.
What to see
- The main hall, a designated tangible cultural property.
- A pair of Komainu, designated tangible folk cultural properties.
- A document from Toyotomi Hideyoshi remains at the shrine.
