Fukusai-ji Temple
福済寺
Fukusai-ji Temple is a unique modern temple with a giant Kannon statue and Foucault's pendulum.
What it is
- Temple of the Ōbaku sect, established in 1628.
- One of the Nagasaki Sanfukuji and Yonfukuji temples.
- Destroyed by the atomic bomb in Nagasaki.
- Rebuilt in 1979 as the Nagasaki Kannon.
