Fukuzen-ji Temple
福善寺
Fukuzen-ji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with unique art and a famous pine tree.
What it is
- A Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded in July 1573 by Gyoei Hoin.
- Shinran Shonin gave it the name Fukuzen-ji.
- Moved to its current site in 1630.
