- A Rinzai sect Buddhist temple dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha.
- Founded by Gogaku Genkaku during the Keicho era.
- The 68th station of the Chuno 88 Pilgrimage route.
- Housed the Hatsumo and Shushin schools during the late nineteenth century.

- The main hall which was rebuilt in 1975.
- Enshrined statues of Sho-kanzeon Bosatsu and Idaten.
