Genju-in Temple is a Jodo sect temple with a long history, rebuilt after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
What it is
- An independent temple of the Jodo sect.
- Founded in the late 16th century.
- Its founder Enkai Zan'o died in 1604.
- Moved to its current location in 1927.

- The current main hall, built in 1968.
