Gonjō-ji Temple

Gonjo-ji is a Jodo-shu temple, part of a sacred pilgrimage, housing unique Buddhist artifacts.
What it is
- A Jodo-shu Buddhist temple.
- The 12th temple of the Honen Shonin 25 Sacred Sites.
- Rebuilt in 1882 in Yamato-cho.
- Relocated to its current site in 1917.
