Hakken Shrine
八剱神社 (羽島市竹鼻町)
Hakken Shrine is a historic site in Gifu, worth visiting for its ancient festival floats.
What it is
- Dedicated to the deity Yamato Takeru no Mikoto.
- Relocated in 1581 by Fuwa Hirotsuna.
- Designated a Kinpeisha shrine in 1957.
