What it is
- A Jodo Shu Buddhist temple founded in 1884 by businessman Yasukawa Shigenari
- The temple is dedicated to a statue of the deity Amida Nyorai
- Commonly known as Kankan-dera due to the sound of gongs during prayer services
- Chimyo is recognized as the ceremonial founding priest of the site
