Hashidate-dō Temple

What it is

• A Soto Zen temple located in Chichibu City and designated as a historic site.
• The 28th site of the Chichibu Thirty-four Kannon pilgrimage route.
• An external hall of Obuchi-ji Temple that was recorded in pilgrimage lists in 1488.
• A former Shugendo temple during the Edo period dedicated to the deity Batou Kannon.
