What it is

  • A Shingon-shu Buzan-ha temple in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward.
  • Founded in 710, it was the oldest temple in the ward.
  • Destroyed in 1538, it was rebuilt in 1572.
  • It is the 35th site of the New Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage.

  • Henjō-in Igyō Itabi, a designated tangible cultural property.
