Hie Shrine is a historic Tokyo shrine with important cultural properties and a major festival.
What it is
- A Sanno belief shrine, also known as Sanno-sama.
- Main deity is Oyamakui-no-kami.
- Designated a Jun Chokusai-sha in 1868.
- Rebuilt in 1958 after being destroyed.
