Hikawa Shrine
氷川神社
Hikawa Shrine is a historic village shrine, an easy walk from Mizuhodai Station.
What it is
- A village shrine in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture.
- Founded in the early Edo period (1688-1704).
- Possibly enshrined a household deity of the Suzuki family.
- Four surrounding shrines merged into it in 1907.
What to see
- A small 'old shrine' is inside the main hall.
