Himemiya Shrine is an ancient shrine with unique elevated structures and historical artifacts.
What it is
- A Sōchinju of the former Hyakkenryō.
- Enshrines Tagirihime-no-mikoto, Ichikishimahime-no-mikoto, and Tagitsuhime-no-mikoto.
- Origin attributed to Jikaku Daishi Ennin.
- Town name Miyashiro originates from this shrine.

- Main hall and Hachiman Shrine areas are elevated by 2 meters.
- Torii rebuilt in November 1925.
- Chozuya built in May 1719.
- Komainu built in May 1841.
