Himon'ya Hachimangū

Himon'ya Hachimangū is a historic Tokyo shrine, guarding a former village, with unique artifacts.

- Known as the guardian of the former Himon'ya Village.
- The current main building was rebuilt in 1872.
- The main building was remodeled in 1887.
What to see
- An Inari Shrine enshrining Hanzawa Rokurō.
- A stone monument called Himonseki is preserved.
- Himonseki is 75cm tall, 45cm wide, 10cm thick.
- Himonseki has Sanskrit characters carved on it.
- Katsu Kaishū's calligraphy is preserved.
