Hōdai-ji Temple
法台寺
A historic temple founded in 1266 by imperial order, featuring modern architecture and ancient prefectural cultural properties.

- Established in 1266 by order of Prince Munetaka
- Founded to pray for the soul of Kume Gozen
- Converted from the Ji sect to the Jodo sect
- The current main hall was completed in 1989 after a fire
