Hodo-in is a historic temple with unusual architecture, a short walk from two stations.
What it is
- A Jodo-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded or restored in 1582 by Kenshu Zenkyo.
- Was a dormitory for Tengaku-ji temple.

- Main hall built in Shingon-shu style, not Jodo-shu style.
