Hōju-in Temple

What it is

• A Shingon Buzan sect temple originally founded as a sub-temple of Myoko-in in Fuchu.
• Relocated to its current site in 1724 by Suzuki Rizaemon Harumasa.
• Established at this location to honor the founder's father, Suzuki Rizaemon Shigehiro.
• The mountain name was changed to Suzukisan upon its relocation.

What to see

• The current main hall which was constructed in 1962.

• The temple is a one-minute walk from the Kansha-mae bus stop.
