What it is

  • An independent Rinzai sect temple.
  • Founded by Karin-no-miya Egon in the Ōan era.
  • Became a Monzeki temple for imperial princesses.
  • Also known as Dodo Gosho, Ningyō-dera, or Ningyō no Tera.
