Hōkyōkaku nisshinzen-ji Temple

What it is

• A Soto sect temple founded in the Eiroku era.
• Commonly known as Nisshin-zenji or Nisshin-in.
• Founded by Gokei Sotsuru Oshō of Ryūnen-ji temple.
• Its name changed to Hōkyōkaku Nisshin-zenji in 2002.

• The principal image is the Shakyamuni Triad.
• The main hall was completed in 1968.
• The main hall has stained glass.
• Stained glass depicts the Three Buddhist Memorial Days.
