Honjo-ji is a historic Nichiren-shu temple in Tokyo with unique enshrined statues.
What it is
- It is a Nichiren-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded by Shinjuan Nichiyo.
- Established during the Kan'ei era (1624-1645).
- Relocated to its current site in 1707.
