What it is

  • A Shinshu Otani-ha temple originally founded in 980 as a Tendai sect site
  • The temple converted to Jodo Shinshu in 1468 and moved here in 1601
  • The main hall and gate are Registered Tangible Cultural Properties
  • The site serves as an Okazaki City Landscape Importance Building
