Hōrin-ji is a historic Jōdo Shinshū temple in Tokyo, rebuilt multiple times.

What it is

A Jōdo Shinshū Honganji-ha temple.
One of the "Sangenji" temples.
Founded in 1627 by Rinzei.
Moved to its current location in 1928.

The main hall, rebuilt in 2000.

20-minute walk from Shakujii-kōen Station.
Accessible by bus from Shakujii-kōen Station.
