Hōryū-ji Temple
法龍寺
Hōryū-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo-shū temple with unique monuments and cultural properties.
What it is
- A Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple.
- Founded between 1596 and 1615.
- Named after its founder, Kōrensha Unyo Dōkan Hōryū.
- Became a branch temple of Genpō-ji Temple.

- Grave of Kitajima Tōgen in the cemetery.
- Monument for edible frogs, built in 1952.
