Hoshō-ji is a historic Shingon temple, a quiet stop near a famous iris garden.
What it is
- A Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1570 by Ryōkan, or 1612 by Dōban.
- Moved to its present site in 1915.
- Relocated due to Arakawa drainage canal construction.
