Hoshōji Temple is a historic Buddhist site in Yokohama with ancient documents and art.
What it is
- Buddhist temple of the Kōyasan Shingon-shū sect.
- Founded by Kakushin during the Jōan era (1171-1175).
- Was a head temple for 52 branch temples in the Edo period.
